Bob Richards grew up in Buffalo and Rochester, NY and has been working in radio since his high school radio station where he caught the radio bug. After getting his degree in Journalism, Broadcasting & Speech Communications, he became a talk show host and DJ in Buffalo, NY. He advanced in his career to Program Director with Rich Communications. After a few years, he had an opportunity to move to Denver where he worked as a Program Director at KBPI “Rocks the Rockies”.
During his career Bob became an Operations Manager, VP Market Manager over 8 radio stations between Colorado Springs and Pueblo. In 2011, Bob took on a new challenge with 790 The Zone in Atlanta, GA as their Program Director and was the Executive Producer of the 52 station Atlanta Falcons Radio Network. He traveled with the Falcons and produced the network 4 years. During that period the station was also the flagship station for the Georgia Tech Yellow jackets.
When a new opportunity as Operations Manager presented itself in his home town of Buffalo, Bob and his family decided to move back. In 2019, the opportunity to complete his broadcast career aspirations and become an owner in Colorado was too hard to pass up! Bob moved to Monte Vista, CO in July 2019. His wife, Jeanna, and his stepson Ryan joined him in October. Bob hosts a morning show weekdays from 7-9a on 96.5 The Fox a classic rock station.
