Earlier this morning Center PD attempted contact with a vehicle that took off and led them on a pursuit. During the pursuit a passenger fired numerous rounds from a rifle at officers. The pursuit traveled through Center, Del Norte and into Monte Vista where the vehicle crashed. Two suspects were taken into custody and are being treated by EMS. According to CPD, no officers fired their weapons.
Multiple agencies were involved in this incident. Center PD is the lead agency. No officers were injured. This is an active investigation and further updates will come from Center PD.
