The Alamosa Mean Moose made a huge statement Saturday in their quest for a Colorado State team wrestling title, qualifying 13 boys and 5 girls for this Thursday’s CHSAA State tournament. The Alamosa boys team has been ranked #1 all season long.
Valley schools qualified a total of 48 wrestlers for the tournament, 36 boys and 12 girls. You can view the entire list below listed alphabetically by gender and school.
KSLV-FM, 96.5 The Fox will broadcast every match featuring a valley wrestler starting at noon on Thursday. Troy Plane and Eric Kimberling, who bring a combined 50 years experience of covering the state championships to the broadcast, will handle the play by play and Bob Richards will host.
