Saturday was a pretty good day for valley high school basketball teams as six of the eight remaining teams won and qualified for the Elite 8 in the CHSAA State Basketball Tournament!
On the boys side in 3A, #3 Centauri easily qualified with a 61-32 blow out over #21 Bayfield. In 2A #8 Sanford qualified with a thrilling win over #9 Heritage Christian 52-50.
Four teams qualified on the girls side including 4A #5 Alamosa 3A #2 Centauri 2A #2 Sanford and #8 Sargent.
