In my thirty minute interview with Bob Willett, we talk about a variety of topics including the current state of the DA’s office that he was voted out of, current DA Alonzo Payne, his interest in getting his old job back and the “triage” that needs to be done!
On the topic of the DA’s recall I have interviewed victims, various politicians including Alamosa Mayor Ty Coleman, Police Chiefs, citizens and now former DA Bob Willett. When I do stories like this I strive to bring you as many sides as there are to the story. Full disclosure… For this story I have failed to do that. The remaining side to this story is that of Alonzo Payne himself. Despite multiple attempts via phone calls to his office and an e-mail form submitted on his web site, Alonzo Payne hasn’t even acknowledged receiving my correspondence or invitations for an interview.
